The FLASH PAK Racing Saddle Bag™ shares all the sizing characteristics of its predecessor at a fraction of the weight.
The minimum 1.7 litre volume offers ample space for a jacket or lightweight sleeping bag. The Roll Top closure allows flexibility when packing with a unique cord and bar fastener for optimal tension.
A VX21 and 1oz Dyneema shell further the weight reduction of the Flash PAK to 147 grams. Careful consideration has been given to the balance between weight reduction and stability of this performance saddle bag.
A Dyneema shielded reflective strip across the back aids with visibility in low light conditions. The translucent nature of this material means a rear light will still be effective even when placed inside the bag, an important feature as light mounting options are often limited with this size saddle bag.
The Mounting Strap features our signature magnetic hook, once the strap is routed over the seat rails it can be easily tightened by pulling the loops down through the Step Lock system. The Mounting Strap is attached to the bag to make the tensioning simple. It's important to remember that the tension of this strap relates directly to the stability and therefore the performance of the saddle bag, so keep it full and tight.
A tapered front profile minimises leg strike. Additional stability is added with the One Wrap Seat Post mount.

If you can't get your skingrowsback product looking good with a simple hose down we recommend hand washing with a mild detergent if required, dry in the shade only.
Do not machine wash, machine dry, or iron. Avoid pressure washing and drying in direct sun light.
Here are some useful suggestions for maintaining your skingrowsback product. Even though the slightly over engineered nature of these products will mean they last a long time a couple of basic rules to follow will keep them lasting even longer.
Washing.
When it comes to washing there are two ways you can approach this. Primarily for our on bike products the most effective way is to use a hose to remove the bulk of the dirt and mud. Try to avoid using a pressure washer as this can do more harm than good. Different colours will have different results, the brighter the colour the more difficult it will be to keep clean for obvious reasons.
If the product you are washing has a stiff component to it please DO NOT wash it in the washing machine, this will cause the structure to be compromised. These products include:

Understanding the materials we use for our products will help you care for them in an optimal way. Almost all our products use materials that have a DWR coating (Durable Water Repellent) on the outer layer. Over time this will wear off with factors like abrasion, fibre stress, prolonged UV exposure and detergents. This doesn't mean that we should totally shelter these products, but if we start with an understanding of what has the potential to cause damage then we can work around them.
Zips
Using zips is pretty self explanatory, you pull it one way to open and the opposite way to close.
You can avoid stress on the teeth of the zip if you hold the product together when zipping it up. Pushing any obstructions away from the zip slider as you close it can avoid a jam, lightweight materials like jackets are notorious for this. Removing dirt, mud and particularly sand from the surface of the zip can reduce the risk of damage when opening and closing. All our on bike products use a YKK PU coated zip this offers a degree of water repellency, it's also easy to wipe down before use.
Zip lube is another great way to prolong the life of your zip. Yes, zip lube. Apply a small amount to the teeth of the zip occasionally for smoother running zips.
Spray Before You Play.
Before you use your skingrowsback product we recommend using a water shield spray, this not only repels water but will reduce the amount of dirt that sticks to the surface. Follow the instructions on the container for the best results.
