3Point Camera Strap Set Up

To set up the Camera Strap please follow these steps.

1: Unclip the magnetic buckle by sliding it apart downwards. Once it is disconnected from the main camera strap screw the threaded hardware into the base of the camera body.

2: Remove the the camera body mounts from the gun hooks to install. Once removed guide the cord through the camera body mounts which are often located on the top corners of the camera body. Insert until a loop forms, then pass the ring through the loop and pull until it is tight. Repeat on the opposite side.

3: The short end or the “K” end hook clips to the ring on right the side of the camera body. The long end or the “S” end clips to the ring on the left side of the camera body.

4: Slide the magnetic stabiliser strap undone and place the strap over your head and onto your left shoulder (this strap can only be worn on the left), this will allow you to swing the camera around and use it with your right hand. To adjust the length of the strap pull the D ring on the long side up and down, the weight of the camera will provide some assistance lengthening the strap.

Then connect the magnetic stabiliser strap and adjust to fit.
There are two primary lengths that you are likely to use, riding and shooting. For riding the strap performs better when it is short and higher up on the riders back. For the shooting length pull the D-ring at the end to release and lengthen the strap. We recommend being stationary for this process. Adjustments can be made on all three ends of the strap for an optimal fit.
